Job Description

  • Design and develop hardware components and sensor systems for robotic platforms.
  • Integrate multiple sensors (e.g., vision, temperature, motion tracking) with software control systems for seamless operation.
  • Develop and implement communication protocols between hardware and software layers.
  • Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and optimization to ensure performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project goals and deliverables.
  • Document technical specifications and maintain compliance with industry standards.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions for hardware design.
  • Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior engineers.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in hardware development, preferably with sensor integration.
  • Strong knowledge of hardware design principles and communication protocols.
  • Hands-on experience with testing, troubleshooting, and optimizing hardware systems.
  • Familiarity with embedded systems and robotics platforms (ROS experience is a plus).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong collaboration and communication abilities in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Preferred: Experience in robotics, machine vision hardware, and embedded application development.
