Job Description

  • Developing and executing sales strategies that align with business objectives to expand market share.
  • Monitoring and analyzing sales performance, identifying trends, and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
  • Managing relationships with key stakeholders, including dealers, distributors, and key opinion leaders (KOLs), ensuring alignment with company policies and strategic goals.
  • Recruiting, training, and mentoring sales professionals, providing coaching and performance feedback to develop their skills and drive success.
  • Overseeing budget and expense management to ensure that sales goals are met within financial constraints.
  • Collaborating with marketing and other departments to support promotional activities, training initiatives, and market research efforts.
  • Staying updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and advancements in medical technology to maintain a competitive edge.

The Successful Applicant

  • At least five years of experience in sales management, with a proven track record in driving business growth and managing sales teams.
  • Strong expertise in both equipment and consumable product sales, as well as experience handling key accounts and channel management.
  • The ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with distributors, dealers, and healthcare professionals, particularly key opinion leaders (KOLs).
  • Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills, with a business-oriented mindset to identify new opportunities and optimize market strategies.
  • Strong leadership and coaching abilities to develop and inspire a high-performing sales team.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • A results-oriented approach with the ability to analyze data, forecast sales trends, and implement strategic initiatives.
  • A degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biomedical, Medical Science, or a related field is preferred, with an MBA being an added advantage.
