Develop district-specific sales plans and contribute to the creation of the annual plan and Latest Best Estimates (LBE) for the BU. Effectively communicate team objectives and milestones to ensure alignment and smooth execution of sales initiatives. Collaborate closely with Marketing, Key Account Managers, Customer Excellence, and sales teams to share insights and execute cross-functional programs.Monitor market trends and competitor activities within the assigned territory. Analyze data and input from various sources to assess alignment with plans and make necessary adjustments. Stay informed on industry developments to identify business drivers, and provide the General Manager and Marketing with valuable insights on customer attitudes, market opportunities, threats, and competitive activities.Utilize advanced sales techniques to develop tailored account strategies and solutions that meet customer needs with BU products. Build and strengthen relationships, particularly with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), to enhance the BU's presence and influence in the market.Oversee inventory management processes within the district, ensuring adherence to company procedures related to product control, including managing expiry dates and handling product experiences in accordance with company policy.Hire, mentor, and develop sales staff within the district, serving as a positive role model for ethical conduct and professionalism. Provide development opportunities that expand team members' skills and capabilities. Offer regular coaching and performance feedback to help team members strengthen their strengths and address developmental needs. Build a pipeline of talent by preparing candidates for future opportunities. Ensure compliance with affiliate EHS policies, including driving and biohazard safety.Represent company in a manner consistent with the company's professional image and Code of Business Conduct. Lead efforts to maintain ethical practices and support compliance initiatives. Review compliance metrics and drive behaviors that reinforce the company's commitment to ethical business practices.Complete all required new-hire training and maintain up-to-date industry knowledge through continuous self-study and participation in both internal and external educational events.The Successful Applicant2 years of sales manager leadership experienceProven ability to develop district-specific sales plans that align with broader BU objectives.
