Job Description

Strategic Level:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies, including market positioning, target customers, pricing strategies, etc.
  • Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure alignment of sales strategies with product lines.
  • Monitor market trends and competitors, adjusting sales strategies to adapt to changes.



Organizational Level:

  • Establish an efficient sales team, defining effective roles and responsibilities to ensure each member has clear goals and duties.
  • Design and optimize sales processes to improve sales efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure smooth collaboration and information flow between the sales team and other departments.



Sales Performance Management:

  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, such as revenue growth, sales pipeline, conversion rates, and customer acquisition costs, to identify areas for improvement and drive results.
  • Develop and implement sales forecasting and budgeting processes to ensure accurate forecasting and effective resource allocation.



Talent & Leadership Level:

  • Recruit, train, and develop high-quality sales talent, ensuring the team possesses necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Create an environment that motivates and inspires the sales team, including providing appropriate rewards and advancement opportunities.



Cultural Level:

  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and innovative sales culture, encouraging team members to support and learn from each other.
  • Ensure alignment of company values and culture with the values and behaviors of the sales team.



Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate closely with other departments, such as marketing, product development, and customer service, to align sales initiatives with overall company objectives and ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.
  • Act as a liaison between the sales team and other departments, facilitating communication and collaboration to drive cross-functional alignment and success.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or related field (computer science or engineering is plus); MBA or equivalent preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, with at least 8 years of experience in driving revenue growth and managing high-performing sales teams, preferably in the IoT, SaaS, software enterprise solution, energy industries.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing sales strategies, analyzing market trends, and achieving business objectives.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, CRM systems, and sales performance metrics, with the ability to leverage data-driven insights to optimize sales operations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset, capable of identifying opportunities for business growth and driving initiatives to capitalize on them.
