As the Sales Director, you will be responsible for defining and executing the sales strategy to drive revenue growth and brand performance in department stores across the region. You will lead and inspire a high-performing sales team, build strong retail partnerships, and ensure premium brand is optimally positioned to win in a competitive retail environment.

About Our Client

Our client is a multinational beauty company with a great vision as well as high level of sustainability. They are now looking for a dynamic and strategic Sales Director to drive their sales growth in Department Stores in Taiwan.

Job Description

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for department store channels aligned with brand and business objectives.
  • Set annual sales targets and KPIs; track performance and take corrective actions when needed.
  • Cultivate and strengthen relationships with key department store partners, ensuring brand visibility, premium execution, and collaborative business development.
  • Lead annual negotiations, joint business planning, and promotional planning.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team, including field sales managers, beauty advisors, and retail partners.
  • Foster a performance-driven culture with strong accountability and development plans.
  • Ensure excellence in-store execution: merchandising, staffing, training, customer service, and events.
  • Champion retail innovation and omnichannel integration to enhance customer experience.
  • Oversee sales forecasting, retail stock planning, and P&L responsibility for department store accounts.
  • Monitor market trends, competitors, and consumer insights to guide decision-making.

The Successful Applicant

  • 12+ years solid sales management experience in FMCG and retail industries. Beauty category experience is a plus.
  • Strategic and data driven with different channel strategy
  • High learning agility as well as flexibility and able to embrace new changes
  • Proven track record in managing department store channels and growing high-end brands
  • Solid people leadership experience and able to motivate team members to drive sales
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Mandarin
