Job Description
- be the primary source of sales follow-up and engagement with global customers for opportunities
- Coordinate externally and internally to provide resources to support sales prospects, existing customers, distributors and other stakeholders
- Host and provide webinars to new customer prospects when required
- Work closely and in coordination with internal departments and outside stakeholders to drive revenue growth
- Provide sales training for distributors related to service
- Gather voice-of-customer and share this with marketing/product management
- Attend scientific exhibitions and conferences, write up scientific reports from key events, provide updates on competitor activity
- Input relevant input into new product development initiatives
The Successful Applicant
- Degree in a life science or related
- Experience working in a regulated molecular diagnostic environment for 5 years
- Good connection in clinical molecular diagnostic environment
- Experience of working in commercial department with sales and account management experience
- Knowledge of next generation sequencing and other molecular biology methodologies
- Excellent communication skills and enjoys working as part of a team
- Enthusiasm, drive, thoroughness, diligence and a willingness to take personal responsibility to ensure that projects are successful
