Job Description

  • Ensure reliability of analytical data and uphold high product quality standards.
  • Guide experimental design to ensure scientific rigor and reproducibility.
  • Manage and mentor engineers and analysts; assign tasks and set performance goals.
  • Provide technical training and foster team capability development.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and offer constructive feedback.
  • Oversee lab budget, equipment procurement, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and ethical standards.
  • Report project progress and engage in external technical discussions.
  • Collaborate with international teams and contribute to cross-border initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

  • Over 10 years in the semiconductor or chemical manufacturing industry.
  • Hands-on experience with instruments such as HPLC, IC, ICP-MS, ICP-OES, LC-MS, GC-MS.
  • Familiarity with quality control tools like SPC, MSA, Six Sigma.
  • Experience with specialty chemicals (CMP slurry preferred; cleaners, developers acceptable).
  • Proven leadership of teams with 5+ members.
  • Strong project management skills and experience in international collaboration.
  • Proficient in statistical software (e.g., JMP, Minitab).
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to translate technical insights into actionable strategies.
