About Our Client
Our client is a multinational manufacturer from industrial tools, household hardware to provider of security products. With almost 180 years industrial experience, they made themselves a global leader in fastening products, providing superior quality of tools and storage to the world.
Support and implement Global Tool & Storage (GTS) advanced lean manufacturing engineering processes development, in supporting Vertical Integration/Prime/Localization MFG strategies with sound financial payback.
Work with AME-Towson & GTS plants' MFG process engineers on existing MFG processes.
Participate in develop 1-pcs-flow lean cellular automation manufacturing system with Poka-Yoke, in-process quality control & Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM) systems.
Work with Global AME teams in exploring diversified low-cost professional automation MFG process equipment/ machinery builders & system integrators.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (10+% annually)
The Successful Applicant
BS in Mechanical, Manufacturing or EE/Electronic Engineering related or equivalent Degree required.
Minimum 5 years of in-depth experiences of one or more manufacturing processes (CNC machining, cold/hot forging/forming etc).
Minimum 5 years of experience in high-volume 1-pcs flow automation manufacturing processes development & management (IPC/PLC/HMI etc).
Minimum 3 years of global cross-function technical MFG project management.
Knowledge in DFM & GD&T/jig/fixture/gagging/meteorology.
Understanding of MFG process costing, ERP (SAP preferred) as well as financial discounted cash flow analysis.
Proven knowledge on lean 6-sigma practices on MFG process improvement and trouble-shooting & optimisation.
Ability of performing schematics and Layout review with commercial CAD tools.
Fluent in Mandarin and English with ability to perform smooth communication verbally and in writing.
Understanding audio signal processing algorithms and techniques will be a plus.
