Strong people management and close cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Logistics, and Shared Services are essential. This role is also a key contributor to the Management Team.

Job Description



  • Ensure On Time In Full (OTIF) delivery of consistent quality products to meet customer needs.


  • Maintain employee health and safety by promoting risk awareness and proper use of personal protective equipment on site.


  • Manage all operations functions including Procurement, HSE, Production, Plant Services, Maintenance, and Quality Assurance, meeting cost and delivery targets.


  • Plan capacity and resources efficiently to meet current and future market demands, introducing best practices and manufacturing technologies.


  • Oversee demand planning, inventory control, and procurement, building strong partnerships with suppliers.


  • Drive performance in safety, quality, cost, and workforce productivity; establish budgets and perform timely reporting and variance analysis.


  • Lead manufacturing engineering and capital expenditure projects, optimizing plant layout and equipment usage.


  • Initiate and manage continuous improvement projects to enhance manufacturing efficiency, quality, HSE systems, and reduce costs and waste.


  • Ensure the plant complies with Group standards for HSE, quality, efficiency, and lean manufacturing.


  • Lead, coach, and engage the operations team to ensure high employee involvement.


  • Participate in cross-functional major management decisions and support the company's operational strategy.



The Successful Applicant



  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering.


  • Preferably holds Quality and HSE certifications.


  • At least 10 years of manufacturing experience (automotive, chemicals, paints, mechanical, industrial lubricants, ceramics, foundry, refractory products) with minimum 5 years in operations management.


  • Deep knowledge of all operations functions, quality systems, and experience implementing TQM.


  • Strong shop floor management experience.


  • Problem-solving skills, especially 8D methodology.


  • Understanding of commercial aspects, negotiation skills, costing, and finance basics.


  • Familiarity with ISO 9000 and ISO 14001 standards.


  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, leadership, and people management skills.


  • Proficient in project management and computer skills.


  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, respond to emergencies, and communicate effectively.
