We are seeking an experienced and strategic General Manager/ Operation Head to lead our machine tool operations in Taiwan. This leadership role will oversee all aspects of business operations, including manufacturing, sales, and organizational development.

Job Description



  • Leadership & Operations: Lead the Taiwan team by fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Oversee daily operations to ensure operational efficiency, productivity, and quality.


  • Strategic Development: Formulate and implement strategic plans aligned with corporate goals. Collaborate with global leadership to ensure local operations contribute effectively to overall business objectives.


  • Financial Oversight: Manage financial planning, budgeting, and performance tracking. Ensure cost control, optimize operational spending, and enhance overall profitability.


  • Sales & Business Development: Develop and execute business development and marketing strategies to increase market penetration. Cultivate strong relationships with key clients and partners to promote growth.


  • Product & Innovation: Partner with R&D and engineering teams to support product development and enhancement. Ensure products meet market demands and maintain technical leadership.


  • Quality Management: Ensure robust quality assurance processes are in place. Monitor product consistency and address quality issues proactively to ensure customer satisfaction.



The Successful Applicant



  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.


  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years in the machine tool or precision manufacturing industry, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role.


  • Languages: Proficiency in Mandarin and English is required.


  • Skills: Strong strategic and operational leadership, financial and commercial acumen, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.


  • Attributes: Results-driven, innovative, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and adaptable to a multicultural working environment.
