Job Description

  • Implements continuous improvements in project execution strategies under regional/global guidance while overseeing the project portfolio to ensure alignment with best practices, company policies, controls, and requirements. Leads the local project execution team, developing and enhancing processes by incorporating lessons learned and best practices. Participates in budgeting and sales operations planning to address execution gaps and resource capacity.
  • Supervises project performance and contract fulfillment through regular reviews, resolves escalated customer issues, and ensures adherence to project methodologies. Ensures consistent application of contract and claims management practices and maintains strong relationships with stakeholders to address systemic project issues.
  • Promotes and ensures safety measures and culture within project operations. Aligns team structure with business needs, develops competencies, and ensures appropriate staffing. Coaches and motivates teams to enhance performance, profitability, and cash flow.
  • Monitors project health, identifies risks, and intervenes early to recover troubled projects. Ensures on-time delivery for projects and establishes robust local document control systems.

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the electrical industry, including at least 5 years in service and commissioning, as well as project management and engineering.
  • Proven ability to manage projects of varying sizes, complexities, and contractual types.
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on project management experience, preferably handling complex projects.
  • Solid understanding of basic finance principles and commercial aspects of business operations.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
