Job Description

  • Lead the industrialization of new products, systems, and modules, ensuring readiness across framework, which includes Product, Procedures, People, Plant, Production Tools, and Parts.
  • Develop and compile documentation to meet critical decision milestones as per the process.
  • Guide a diverse RD team across multiple projects to create reliable and scalable system designs.
  • Manage the delivery of prototypes, capturing and addressing issues for a smooth transition to volume production.
  • Support the industrialization process for prototype and pilot production, streamline workflows, and prepare for high-volume scaling.
  • Oversee issue resolution processes to achieve maturity in volume production and meet cost objectives.
  • Monitor pilot phase progress, coordinate resources, including manpower and parts, to ensure readiness for production.
  • Define and implement training plans to equip the manufacturing team with the skills required for system assembly.
  • Provide critical feedback to RD for continuous design improvements and maintain efficient issue resolution channels.
  • Act as a liaison for Production and Sustaining Engineering teams, clarifying new product requirements and coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure timely deliverables.

The Successful Applicant

  • Master's degree required.
  • Strong background in project management, with 5+ years of experience in the high-tech industry, ideally involving new product launches or design.
  • Working at the forefront of technology means constant challenges and opportunities to collaborate. This role is not isolated-it's about being part of a dynamic environment where teamwork and innovative thinking are key. You'll have the autonomy to choose the best approaches for tackling complex issues.

  • Flexibility to travel and participate in meetings across different time zones to maintain global connections.
  • A commitment to gathering diverse perspectives within the production team, ensuring all inputs are considered during product development.
  • The ability to work independently, using a mix of experience, knowledge, and intuition to bring clarity to complex situations.
