Job Description

  • Lead meetings focused on process and product development, driving DFM analysis and evaluating manufacturing feasibility, while implementing improvements throughout the NPI project.
  • Develop and execute process strategies, manage resources, optimize current workflows, and maintain comprehensive process documentation.
  • Acquire in-depth technical knowledge of critical process steps and product design for fiber array units (FAU) and co-packaged optics (CPO) solutions.
  • Collaborate with project teams to enhance or develop processes using advanced quality planning or DMAIC methods, ensuring that new products meet quality, cost, and capacity targets.
  • Develop master work instructions, PFMEA, control plans, and compile pilot and project summaries to advance the project.
  • Create process improvement capability plans and complete technical reports for internal use.
  • Work closely with project and process engineering teams to ensure all product quality standards are met before project closure.
  • Actively contribute to creating and maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering and technician teams across multiple locations.
  • Participate in risk assessments, inspections, audits, and incident investigations.



The Successful Applicant

  • Strong knowledge of process related standards.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Experience with process simulations, risk assessments, and quality systems.
  • Excellent technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in DOE, DMAIC, MEE, MSA methodologies for problem solving & process verification.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • High initiative, able to work with a minimum of direction, and able to work in team environment.
