Job Description

  • Manage and analyze cost accounting processes, ensuring accurate cost allocation and reporting.
  • Prepare and oversee budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses to support financial planning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate cost efficiency and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with industry accounting standards and internal policies.
  • Develop and maintain cost control systems to optimize operational performance.
  • Provide detailed financial reports to management, highlighting key insights and trends.
  • Support audits and implement recommendations to improve financial accuracy.
  • Train and mentor junior staff in cost accounting best practices.

The Successful Applicant

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong expertise in cost accounting within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and variance reporting.
  • Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • A commitment to maintaining compliance with financial regulations.
