Job Description



  • Act as the primary field-based scientific expert for assigned disease areas and products.


  • Execute local medical programs aligned with global and regional strategies.


  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and academic institutions.


  • Communicate complex scientific data effectively to diverse audiences.


  • Identify and address unmet medical needs in collaboration with internal stakeholders.


  • Support the generation and publication of real-world evidence and clinical data.


  • Create educational content and training materials to support internal teams.


  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, medical standards, and regulatory guidelines.


  • Contribute to cross-functional collaboration with regulatory affairs, pharmacovigilance, and commercial teams.


  • Monitor and manage Medical Affairs budgets and activities efficiently.


  • Represent Ono Pharma at conferences, symposia, and scientific events.

The Successful Applicant



  • Advanced scientific degree (Master's or Doctorate) in Biology, Medicine, Pharmacology, or a related field.


  • In-depth knowledge of clinical practices and therapeutic areas, preferably oncology or immunology.


  • Experience in pharmaceutical industry, MSL roles, or clinical trials is preferred.


  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build influence across internal and external stakeholders.


  • Project management capabilities with an ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives.


  • Excellent analytical and presentation skills with fluency in scientific literature and data interpretation.


  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Mandarin.


  • Demonstrated ability to operate within compliance frameworks and uphold ethical standards.
