The Medical Advisor/TA Lead will play a crucial role in the launch and ongoing support of the new Alzheimer's product. This individual will serve as the medical expert and provide strategic and operational leadership in the therapeutic area of Alzheimer's disease. They will work closely with cross-functional teams, including commercial, regulatory, and clinical development, to ensure the successful launch and lifecycle management of the product.

The company is now launching a breakthrough Alzheimer's product and is looking for a passionate and experienced Medical Advisor/Therapeutic Area (TA) Lead to join the team.

Job Description

  • Provide medical and scientific expertise for the Alzheimer's therapeutic area.
  • Develop and implement medical strategies to support the product launch and lifecycle management.
  • Serve as the primary medical contact for internal and external stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, regulatory authorities, and key opinion leaders.
  • Lead the medical aspects of the new product launch, ensuring alignment with global and local strategies.
  • Develop and execute medical education and communication plans to support the launch.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to provide medical insights and training.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals.
  • Plan and execute advisory boards, scientific meetings, and symposia.
  • Provide medical input into promotional materials and activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with clinical development teams to provide medical input into study design, protocols, and clinical trial activities.
  • Review and interpret clinical data to support the development and commercialization of the product.
  • Provide medical support for regulatory submissions and interactions with regulatory authorities.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies.

The Successful Applicant

  • Medical degree (MD) or PhD in a relevant scientific discipline.
  • Experience in medical affairs or clinical development. Minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in launching new pharmaceutical products is preferred
  • Strong understanding of the local healthcare environment and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Proficiency in both English and Mandarin Chinese.
  • Proven track record of building relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
