About Our Client

Our client is a well-known Food & Beverage company in the world. They have a wide range of product portfolio with strong brand awareness. They are now looking for a Marketing Director role in Taiwan to lead their marketing strategy.

Job Description

  • Adopt and integrate the Global and Regional brand strategies in the context of local market needs, ensuring resonance with local target consumers
  • Lead the development of local brand strategy in Taiwan across company's portfolio, in close partnership with global/ regional brand team as well as local trade marketing / sales teams: core & prestige launches, PR & Events, Media campaigns, Spiritual Homes programme, Retail excellence, On & Off premises activations, gifting, etc.
  • Work with Regional brand team members to establish a strong cohesive brand is established across all aspects of marketing ensuring synergy and alignment.
  • Provide Marketing guidance for implementation and localization of brand assets
  • Management of multiple external agencies within Taiwan to maximize effectiveness and up-weight delivery of local resonance and relevant content.
  • Lead the brand growth planning cycle to establish a clear roadmap for the delivery of brand strategies, and to ensure excellence in activation/ execution.
  • Updates and builds comprehensive launch plans and programming in line with the annual Marketing calendar.
  • Participate and provide support for Quarterly Performance and Strategic Reviews - data analysis, presentation.
  • Initiate and partner with Regional Consumer Insights to recommend, develop and execute local insight gathering to stay on top of market trends, consumer behaviours and to see opportunity for growth
  • Lead and motivate a local team of consumer marketers
  • Facilitates employee career development through continuous career conversations and on-going coaching and mentoring; contribute towards annual talent and succession processes for the team.

The Successful Applicant

  • University or above graduated, major in Business or Marketing related area.
  • 8-10+ years marketing experience working in Brand Management / Marketing responsibilities for International Brands. Previous liquor / spirits experience is an advantage.
  • Experience in the premium wine & spirits industry will be a plus but not essential.
  • Knowledgeable of the luxury sector and principal of marketing a prestige brand.
  • Solid people management and experienced in managing a sizable team
  • Strategic thinker with ability to develop and execute strategy that adapts to complex and diverse markets and environments.
  • Creative and innovative with an attitude and desire to drive excellence
  • Able to inspire to develop a strong local marketing team to continuously deliver expectations
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent Presentation skills
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin
  • Experience of managing direct-to-consumer offline sales will be an advantage
