About Our Client

Our client is a global leading Food & Beverage company in the world. They have a great vision with diversified product portfolio. They are now looking for a Marketing Director to oversee all their products in Taiwan.

Job Description

  • Provide strategic input for mid-to-long-term planning in Taiwan markets, focusing on volume, product mix, pricing, and brand investment. Ensure these strategies align with global and regional principles and are validated locally.
  • Regularly analyze brand and market performance to identify key issues and opportunities. Evaluate the underlying reasons and recommend actionable steps.
  • Identify and leverage best practices to enhance programs and assets, driving marketing excellence across ATL, BTL, media, PR, NPD, portfolio management, digital, CRM, and consumer promotion strategies to inspire local markets.
  • Lead key strategic projects relevant to Taiwan, such as evaluating current product range performance, developing pricing strategies, and optimizing allocation strategies, in collaboration with commercial teams.
  • Manage the brand investment (BI) budget, ensuring accurate accounting and tracking of return on investment (ROI).
  • Collaborate with the insights team to develop a consumer-centric understanding of Taiwan markets, ensuring this knowledge is integrated within both Global Brand House and local market teams.
  • Supervise the marketing team, providing guidance, feedback, and support to ensure professional growth and high performance.

The Successful Applicant

  • 10+ years solid marketing experience in well-known MNC FMCG companies
  • Solid people management experience and used to manage a sizable team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Mandarin as well as stakeholders management
  • Demonstrated experience in cross-functional team leadership, with the ability to motivate and drive enthusiasm for breakthrough marketing initiatives.
  • Experience working across various countries within the Taiwan market, with a deep understanding of market and consumer dynamics.
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
  • Growth mindset team leader with high flexibility, influencing and embrace new changes
