Job Description

  • Develop accurate monthly financial forecasts, analyzing variances against prior forecasts, budgets, and year-on-year performance.
  • Assist with the monthly close process, ensuring accurate financial results and conducting detailed analysis of key expense and balance sheet items.
  • Update the Finance Manager on pacing during monthly closes, tracking actual results against forecasts.
  • Support the Finance Manager with various projects and initiatives.
  • Oversee logistics operations, including the coordination of packaging material inventory to meet retail demands.
  • Manage merchandise transfers as requested.
  • Collaborate with the retail team and HR to prepare monthly commission and incentive reports.



The Successful Applicant



  1. Educational Background
    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.


  2. Professional Experience
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and operational support.
    • Experience with monthly close processes and variance analysis.
    • Familiarity with logistics operations and inventory management is a plus.


  3. Technical Skills
    • Proficient in financial modeling and data analysis tools, such as Microsoft Excel or other financial software.
    • Knowledge of accounting principles and ERP systems.


  4. Communication and Collaboration
    • Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with cross-functional teams such as retail and HR.
    • Proactive in providing updates and insights to management.


  5. Analytical Mindset
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
    • Ability to interpret financial data and trends to support business decision-making.


  6. Organizational Abilities
    • Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks, including report preparation and logistics coordination.


  7. Adaptability and Initiative
    • Capable of managing ad-hoc projects and initiatives with minimal supervision.
    • A proactive approach to identifying and addressing operational inefficiencies.
