Job Description

  • Act as the key legal point of contact for Taiwan operations, owning the end-to-end management of bilingual (Chinese & English) contracts and legal documentation across group entities.
  • Track and interpret regulatory developments across domestic and international jurisdictions, translating legal requirements into practical, business-ready compliance guidance.
  • Proactively design and deliver internal legal briefings and training sessions to strengthen risk awareness and decision quality across functions.
  • Support corporate governance matters, including entity setup, structural changes, and statutory meetings, ensuring regulatory accuracy and execution discipline.
  • Provide day-to-day legal advisory support to internal stakeholders, covering contract strategy, internal policies, dispute prevention, and risk mitigation.
  • Lead the coordination of contentious matters, working closely with external counsel on litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution strategies.
  • Maintain accurate legal records and data within group systems, ensuring transparency, traceability, and audit readiness.

The Successful Applicant

  • 8 years of solid legal experience in corporate environment, with hands-on exposure to business-driven legal work.
  • Strong foundation in contract law and corporate legal practices, with the ability to apply legal principles in real-world commercial scenarios.
  • Demonstrated sound judgment and analytical capability when navigating ambiguity, risk, and competing business priorities.
  • Confident communicator who can engage effectively with both legal and non-legal stakeholders.
  • High standards of professionalism, ethics, and integrity, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
