My client is a leading quantitative trading firm with a global footprint, operating at the forefront of the financial industry in both Taiwan and Singapore. Specialising in algorithmic trading, the company utilises advanced technology, machine learning, and data-driven strategies to achieve high-frequency trading and market-making activities across a wide range of asset classes.

Job Description

  • Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, including the preparation and review of journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.
  • Supervise all finance and accounting functions to ensure accurate and timely submission of regular reports.
  • Ensure the accurate and prompt delivery of monthly reports, annual tax returns, and transfer pricing documentation.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, coordinating statutory and tax audits and collaborating with various departments to compile necessary accounting records.
  • Ensure timely and precise submission of monthly financial reports, annual tax filings, and transfer pricing documentation.
  • Serve as the key contact for tax-related inquiries and transfer pricing matters, identifying and assessing any potential tax risks.
  • Oversee accruals, payroll accounting, and fixed asset sub-ledgers to guarantee accurate monthly closures.
  • Execute ad-hoc tasks or special projects as required.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelors or above degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
  • 8 years of experience in Accounting or related roles, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Familiar with Taiwan Tax Law and Company Law.
  • Experienced in managing financial operations for multiple entities in different regions.
  • Agency and start-up experience is preferred.
  • Business proficiency in written and verbal English.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently with cross-functional stakeholders.
