About Our Client

Our client is a well-known consumer product company with a clear vision. They are ambitious to expand globally. They are now looking for a Key Account Manager to oversee their Modern Trade Channels in Taiwan.

Job Description

  • Develop and execute account strategies, ensuring optimal resource allocation and inventory management to meet business targets.
  • Propose and justify account budget requirements to maximize commercial objectives and monitor budget utilization effectively.
  • Analyze performance results and market trends to identify opportunities and challenges, maintaining a competitive position within Key Accounts and driving continuous improvement.
  • Propose contractual targets and negotiate terms aligned with business goals for account agreements.
  • Monitor account operations against established standards to prevent penalties, coordinating corrective actions to maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Plan and oversee one-year national promotional programs, including agreements and expenditure oversight for Key Account customers.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective plan execution.
  • Manage Key Account distribution center inventory levels to meet safety stock requirements through logistics collaboration.
  • Gather market intelligence and analyze competitor activities to inform sales strategies and respond to market dynamics.
  • Perform day-to-day operational tasks such as volume forecasting, customer reporting, presentations, and budget management.
  • Cultivate collaborative relationships with internal and external partners, understanding customer needs to identify business opportunities.
  • Apply customer-specific insights to inform business planning processes

The Successful Applicant

  • 6+ years solid key account management in well-known MNC FMCG companies
  • Familiar with Modern Trade channels in Taiwan especially CVS channels
  • Able to negotiate terms and conditions with clients individually
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Mandarin
  • Growth mindset with high learning agility and flexibility
  • Strong influencing skills as well as stakeholders management and embrace new changes
