Job Description

  • Overseeing the IT department, ensuring it aligns with the business objectives of the organization.
  • Planning, implementing, and monitoring IT systems in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Coordinating IT-related projects and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Training staff and users to work with new computer hardware or software.
  • Evaluating user needs and system functionality and ensuring IT facilities meet these needs.
  • Ensuring software licensing laws are adhered to.
  • Providing secure access to the network for remote users.
  • Ensuring the security of data from internal and external attacks.

The Successful Applicant

  • An educational background in Information Technology or a related field.
  • Proficiency in managing technological operations and implementing strategies.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong knowledge of data administration and data standardization practices.
  • Ability to handle high-stress situations with stakeholder groups and consult with line management to ensure smooth operations.
