Job Description

  • The IC Design Flow team enables cutting-edge technologies for our global top-tier customers in mobile, HPC, AI, automotive, and IoT sectors. Lead a team of talented and creative engineers to develop advanced design flows and enhance technology PPA (performance, power, area) through DTCO (design and technology co-optimization).
  • Collaborate with EDA partners to develop design flows for the company's advanced technology and improve EDA tool QoR to meet TSMC technology PPA standards.
  • Work alongside the company's process R&D team to enhance technology PPA (performance, power, area) through DTCO (design and technology co-optimization).
  • Support the company's global customers in adopting advanced technologies. Assist customers in setting up design flows and improving PPA for their mobile, HPC, AI, automotive, and IoT products.
  • Knowledge requirements: Semiconductor physics and devices, VLSI design automation, EDA (electronic design automation), and programming languages.

The Successful Applicant

  • Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Over 10 years of experience in EDA design automation, IC design, physical design, or CAD/EDA. Familiarity with IC design, design methodology, library/IP, and EDA tools is beneficial.
  • Extensive and in-depth knowledge of major EDA tools and design flows.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and partners.
