Our client is a well-established organization with over four decades of experience. As a leading player in the steel industry, They specialize in international trade and are looking to expand our operations in Taiwan.

They deal with a multitude of commodities from across the globe including; ferrous & non-ferrous scrap, ferroalloys, base and minor metals and minerals. With a well-defined global footprint, they have access and exposure to a plethora of markets, commodities and geographies. Their easy access to raw materials and intermediates used in various manufacturing processes makes us one of the most preferred suppliers globally.

Job Description

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Manage and grow existing customer relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the steel industry.
  • Conduct market research to understand market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis to senior management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and standards.



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in international steel trade.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of the steel industry and its market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in English and Mandarin; additional languages are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
