Job Description

  • Lead the design, development, and optimization of embedded firmware for complex hardware systems.
  • Define and execute firmware development strategies aligned with product roadmaps and organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with hardware, software, QA, and product teams to ensure seamless integration and timely delivery.
  • Oversee testing, debugging, and performance tuning to ensure reliability and scalability.
  • Drive process improvements to enhance team productivity and development efficiency.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
  • Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to inform strategic decisions.
  • Manage resource allocation, project timelines, and team growth to meet evolving business needs.
  • Report progress, risks, and solutions to senior leadership and stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant

  • 15+ years of experience in firmware development, with at least 5 years in a technical leadership role.
  • Strong background in embedded systems, firmware architecture, and hardware-software integration in server industry.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver complex engineering projects.
  • Skilled in programming languages commonly used in firmware development (e.g., C/C++, Python).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience in customer and executive engagement.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices and emerging technologies in embedded systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to decision-making.
