Job Description

  • Tune haptic performance on customer end products and create custom demos that showcase product capabilities.
  • Quantify and analyse haptic performance using lab equipment and internal tools.
  • Provide hands-on technical support to customers and FAEs, including debugging and resolving system-level issues.
  • Collaborate with global, cross-functional teams to address customer requests and project needs.
  • Work closely with applications and firmware/software teams to define, implement, and validate new tools and features.
  • Drive the creation of promotional demos for new products and key features.
  • Partner with Marketing to support product promotions during customer visits, events, and conferences.
  • Lead technical training for customers and field teams, helping them understand tools, features, and best practices.
  • Manage and prioritise tasks independently, maintaining strong ownership and urgency.

The Successful Applicant

Must Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • 3+ years of industry experience in applications, tuning, or similar engineering roles.
  • Hands-on experience tuning algorithms to enhance user or listening experience.
  • Solid understanding of physics fundamentals related to force, velocity, and acceleration.
  • Knowledge of transducer modelling and haptic or actuator systems.
  • Experience using lab instruments such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, Audio Precision, logic analysers, and spectrum analysers.
  • Understanding of digital signal processing concepts and algorithms.
  • Proven track record in debugging customer issues and delivering clear technical resolutions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with effective interpersonal abilities.



Preferred Skills

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and external customers.
  • Familiarity with PC and mobile device product requirements.
  • Passion for haptic technology and its impact on user experience.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
