Job Description

Key Responsibilities



  • HR Leadership & Strategy


    • Lead the HR function for Taiwan, aligning people strategy with business objectives and global HR direction.


    • Provide guidance to the General Manager and leadership team on organizational development, workforce planning, and cultural initiatives.


  • Talent Acquisition & Development


    • Oversee recruitment processes to attract and retain top talent across business units.


    • Drive succession planning, talent pipeline building, and capability development programs tailored to the healthcare and consumer business.


  • Employee Engagement & Culture


    • Promote a positive employee experience through engagement initiatives, diversity and inclusion programs, and cultural alignment with corporate values.


    • Maintain open communication channels and a psychologically safe workplace.


  • Compensation, Benefits & Compliance


    • Manage compensation structures, performance management, and benefits to ensure competitiveness and fairness.


    • Ensure compliance with Taiwan labor laws, and act as a key contact for audits, inspections, and legal matters.


  • Operational HR Management


    • Oversee HR operations, policies, and systems to ensure efficiency and accuracy.


    • Support the implementation of regional/global HR projects in Taiwan.

The Successful Applicant

Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.


  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership/HRBP role.


  • Strong knowledge of Taiwan labor law and HR compliance requirements.


  • Proven experience balancing strategic leadership and hands-on execution.


  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust across all levels.


  • Experience in Japanese or multinational companies is highly preferred.


  • Proficiency in Mandarin and English; Japanese language skills a plus.
