Save Job Back to Search Job Description Summary Similar JobsGlobal functions rather than local ones.A role with forward-thinking and challenging positioning.About Our ClientOur client's Electronics Materials division focuses on providing advanced materials and solutions for the semiconductor and display industries.They deliver cutting-edge technologies that enhance performance and drive innovation in electronics manufacturing.Job Description**Role Overview:**As a member of the Process Development Safety Engineering Team, you will join the global Process Safety Team with a primary focus on supporting sites in Taiwan.Your responsibilities will include executing Process Safety programs and delivering essential technical services for operational safety.This will involve conducting Design Hazard Reviews (DHR), Design Verification Reviews (DVR) using HazOp methodology, Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSR), and Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA) in compliance with local regulations, international codes, and EH&S and Engineering standards.You will also lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for incidents and process safety events, approve Management of Change (MoC) requests, and provide training.Additionally, you'll support processes in accordance with Taiwan's Process Safety Management (PSM) regulations.The Successful Applicant**Qualifications:**- Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemical Engineering (preferred) or another engineering discipline.- Over 5 years of experience in process safety or process engineering, preferably in electronics specialty gases, industrial gases, petrochemical, chemical industries, or related fields.- At least 5 years of process safety experience required.- Experience in organizations with strong process safety and/or process engineering functions is preferred.- Proficient with engineering documents (e.g., P&IDs) and familiar with international codes/standards such as API, IEC, and NFPA.- Experienced in working within a matrix environment, collaborating with remote team members, project managers, and customers.- Strong command of English, both spoken and written.- Skilled in leading and performing hazard reviews, qualitative and quantitative risk analyses, mechanical integrity consulting, safety integrated system analysis, critical safety circuit definition, management of change, process safety management, and pre-startup safety reviews.- Background in process engineering related to electronic specialty gases, thin films, delivery systems, and service (DS&S), or chemical plants is desirable.- Proven ability to provide process safety-related technical standards, including process safety management programs, area classification, vent location, safety distance, and oxygen safety.- Solid understanding of Electronic Quality Systems, including change control and documentation management, with experience in writing and routing change requests in a document management system.- Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and able to interact effectively with various company departments, including project management, plant operations, quality, purchasing, and product management.- Adaptable to a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.- Strong communication, teaching, and coaching skills required.What's on OfferParticipate in headquarters decision-making and communicate effective messages to local teams.Exceptional compensation with excellent career prospects.ContactEddie ChienQuote job refJN-072024-6476337Phone number+886 2 8729 8260Job summaryJob functionEngineering & ManufacturingSpecialisationFacilities Management / Technical ManagerWhat is your area of specialisation?SemiconductorsLocationKaohsiungContract TypePermanentConsultant nameEddie ChienConsultant phone+886 2 8729 8260Job ReferenceJN-072024-6476337
