Job Description

  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining software systems.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business needs.
  • Optimizing software for efficiency and scalability.
  • Leading and mentoring a team of software developers.
  • Providing technical leadership and insight during project planning.
  • Ensuring all software solutions align with architectural principles and standards.
  • Participating in code reviews and providing constructive feedback.
  • Keeping up-to-date with emerging trends in software architecture within the industrial/manufacturing industry.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Software Architect should have:

  • An educational background in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
  • 15+ years in robotics/autonomous systems, with 7+ years in software development.
  • Experience with various programming languages. like: SLAM, control systems, perception, motion planning, ROS, and sensor fusion; proficient in C++, Python, embedded development , and simulation tools (Gazebo, PyBullet).
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
  • Proven experience managing small teams of software and firmware developers.
  • Knowledge of the industrial/manufacturing industry.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
