Job Description



  • Ensure systems are privacy-compliant (GDPR, PIPL) and scalable for handling both PII and non-PII data.


  • Support flexible business models including license-based and usage-based (pay-per-report) structures.


  • Build integrations with third-party CRMs, dashboards, and automated reporting tools.


  • Collaborate with product managers to translate business cases into scalable backend solutions.


  • Opportunity to grow into a technical leadership role and help recruit/mentor supporting engineers (e.g., SRE, data infrastructure).



The Successful Applicant



  • 5+ years of backend development experience with PHP, Node.js, and Python.
  • Familiar with system design.


  • Strong understanding of RESTful API design and secure data handling practices.


  • Comfortable working with sensitive image and user data (e.g., facial recognition, CRM data).


  • Familiar with DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, GitOps), Linus, Shell, and CI/CD workflows.
  • Experiene in dealing with high-concurrency services.


  • Experience with at least one major database (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL).


  • Fluent in English and Mandarin with strong cross-functional communication skills.


  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure) and private cloud deployments.
