Job Description

  • Deploy the platform on both on-premise infrastructure and cloud environments (AWS/GCP), ensuring full system integration and functionality.
  • Configure systems and data pipelines, customizing APIs and settings to meet client-specific requirements while optimizing performance.
  • Collaborate directly with clients, providing technical support and serving as the main point of contact throughout the deployment process.
  • Validate post-deployment performance, conducting thorough testing, resolving issues, and ensuring service level agreements are met.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, and Client Support, to address deployment challenges and improve processes.
  • Apply advanced technical skills, including big data tools (Hadoop, Spark), cloud services (AWS/GCP), containers (Kubernetes, Docker), and scripting (Python, Bash).

The Successful Applicant

A successful Deployment Engineer should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (Master's preferred), with 6+ years of experience in system deployment, cloud computing, or IT infrastructure.
  • Deployment Expertise: Proven track record deploying SaaS or big data platforms, especially in financial or regulated industries.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS/GCP (EC2, S3, VPC), and scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Soft Skills & Work Style: Excellent problem-solving and communication skills; capable of managing multiple deployments and working with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Certifications & Domain Knowledge (Preferred): AWS, Kubernetes, or Big Data certifications; familiarity with AML and fraud detection systems is a strong plus.
