The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing a team of developers to build and maintain Shopify-based ecommerce solutions. Also oversee the integration of these solutions with existing ERP systems (Oracle and NetSuite), ensuring seamless operations across the company.

Job Description

  • Team Management:
    • Recruit, hire, and develop a high-performing team of ecommerce developers.
    • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to team members.
    • Manage team performance, set goals, and provide feedback.
  • Ecommerce Development:
    • Lead the development and maintenance of Shopify-based ecommerce platforms.
    • Collaborate with design and marketing teams to create engaging online shopping experiences.
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest ecommerce trends and technologies.
  • System Integration:
    • Integrate Shopify with existing ERP systems (Oracle and NetSuite).
    • Ensure seamless data flow and synchronization between systems.
    • Develop and maintain APIs and connectors to facilitate integration.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, operations) to align ecommerce initiatives with overall business goals.
    • Coordinate with teams in different countries to ensure global consistency and efficiency.
  • Project Management:
    • Manage ecommerce projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
    • Develop project plans, assign tasks, and track progress.
    • Identify and mitigate project risks.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in ecommerce development, with a focus on Shopify.
  • Proven experience managing and leading development teams.
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Shopify, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Node.js and React.js and related technologies.
  • Experience integrating ecommerce platforms with ERP systems (Oracle, NetSuite).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience working in a global organization is preferred.



The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a deep understanding of ecommerce technologies and a proven track record of managing successful ecommerce projects.
