We are seeking a motivated and organized Project Manager to lead and manage projects within the Engineering department in our Taipei location. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.

Job Description

  • Subordinate size: 2 engineers
  • Technical lead of a team of specialist engineers for complex engineering projects, in collaboration with the commercial project manager
  • Technical representation of the project towards the customer
  • Ensuring project execution within the given time, cost, requirements, and quality framework
  • Establishing and maintaining close collaboration with other engineering teams (locally and globally), such as core project and service teams.
  • Actively promoting the application and continuous improvement of engineering practices and processes.
  • Customer management for project milestones, i.e., interface, design reviews, follow up meetings, commissioning, and post-commissioning on the whole fleet.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor above in electrical engineering
  • At least 10 years work experience in a technical customer focused area in the field of railway. E-bus or heavy electric vehicle propulsion would be considered.
  • Technical Project management experience
  • Strong level of self-motivation, curiosity, and a structured approach to work
  • Strong practical background and delivery mindset
  • Team player with fluent communication skills in English and Mandarin Chinese.
