Job Description

  • Lead and manage engineering, R&D, and manufacturing teams to deliver high-quality, regulatory-compliant products.
  • Define and execute engineering strategies that align with business goals and market demands.
  • Oversee product development lifecycle, including concept validation, design control, and production transfer.
  • Improve manufacturing methods and implement process optimizations to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
  • Establish and monitor engineering and quality control metrics to ensure consistent performance and continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to troubleshoot technical issues, lead root-cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Serve as the primary technical liaison for global customers, offering insight on product design, customization, and technical challenges.
  • Identify emerging technologies and business opportunities to support future growth and product innovation.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture, mentoring engineers and ensuring the team's professional development.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory, safety, and environmental standards.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in engineering/R&D leadership, preferably in the medical device or high-tech manufacturing sectors.
  • Hands-on knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality assurance, and process improvement methodologies.
  • Familiarity with global regulatory frameworks (e.g., FDA, ISO 13485, CE marking) is strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage complex, multi-disciplinary projects across functions and geographies.
  • Strong technical acumen, analytical thinking, and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage internal teams and external clients effectively.
  • Experience working with international clients or global teams is a plus.
  • A strong commitment to fostering a culture of innovation, safety, and operational excellence.
