About Our Client

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leveraging a diverse set of tools and technologies to design, develop, and implement robust and state-of-the-art instrumentation and control solutions to the company.
  • This role plays a crucial part in instrumentation selection, control system configuration, control logic & programming, and data aggregation & visualization.

Job Description

  • Design, develop, and implement instrumentation and control solution to company's CapEX projects.
  • Improve existing manufacturing lines' system robustness and automatic level.
  • Responsible for automation system's conceptual design, detailed design/build, start-up, and commissioning on process equipment in manufacturing.
  • Develop control system architecture, control functional specification, and system integration requirements that will satisfy process requirements and comply with company's standards.
  • Interface with external system integrators and machine builders to successfully deliver fully integrated process equipment systems to company's plants on-time, on-budget, and meeting user requirement spec.
  • Collaborate with data analysts to identify opportunities for data-driven insights and automation, and integrate data from various sources, ensuring data consistency and accuracy.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor or master degree in Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years in equipment control /automation related field.
  • Strong skill set in SCADA programming, particularly on Siemens or related system.
  • Great knowledge of control system architectures, instrumentations, and system integration.
  • Knowledge and experience on conducting risk assessment and to design safety systems accordingly.
  • Basic project management skills (i.e., scoping, budgeting, timelines etc.)
