Job Description

The D2C (Direct-to-Consumer) eCommerce Marketing/Product Director is responsible for overseeing and managing the global marketing strategies and initiatives of a company's direct-to-consumer online sales channels. Here are some key responsibilities and roles:



  1. Strategy Development:
    • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to drive traffic, engagement, and sales on the company's eCommerce platform.
    • Focus on customer acquisition, retention, and overall brand growth.


  2. Performance Marketing:
    • Oversee performance marketing campaigns including SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media advertising, and affiliate marketing.
    • Optimize campaigns for ROI and analyze performance metrics.


  3. Customer Experience:
    • Focus on improving the online shopping experience.
    • Implement strategies to enhance customer journey, including personalization and user experience optimization.


  4. Data Analysis and Reporting:
    • Analyze data to understand consumer behavior and preferences.
    • Utilize insights to refine marketing strategies and improve customer targeting.


  5. Team Leadership:
    • Lead and manage a team of marketing professionals.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product development, sales, and customer service.

The Successful Applicant

  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in eCommerce marketing especially D2C experience in US market
    • Strong experience in building up marketing strategy, lauching product and ecommerce operation for consumer and online retail business with a focus on D2C channels.
    • Proven track record of driving significant revenue growth through digital marketing strategies.
  • Skills:
    • Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media advertising, and affiliate marketing.
    • Proficiency in data analysis and performance metrics.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with external partners.
    • Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative marketing campaigns.
    • Proficiency in marketing automation tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, CRM software, etc.).
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
