Job Description

  • Bridge the Gap Between Business and Technology: Effectively translate business requirements into clear and actionable technical specifications, ensuring that software development efforts align with business goals and objectives.
  • Lead and Manage a High-Performance Team: Provide strategic direction and guidance to a team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
  • Champion Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the software development department, identifying and implementing process enhancements to optimize efficiency and productivity.
  • Stay Ahead of the Curve: Keep abreast of emerging software development trends and technologies, evaluating their potential impact on our products and processes.
  • Champion Technical Excellence: Ensure adherence to high coding standards and best practices, promoting a culture of technical excellence within the team.



The Successful Applicant

  • Proven Leadership Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience leading and managing software development teams in a startup or fast-paced environment.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong technical background with a deep understanding of software development principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Business Acumen: Ability to understand and translate business requirements into technical specifications, demonstrating a keen understanding of business objectives and priorities.
  • Communication and Collaboration Skills: Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, able to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Problem-Solving and Decision-Making Skills: Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, able to analyze complex issues, identify solutions, and make sound decisions under pressure.
