Job Description

  • Leading the IT department and setting the overall technological strategy of the organization.
  • Coordinating with other C-Suite members to align the company's IT goals with its business goals.
  • Developing and implementing new IT systems to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Managing IT budgets and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensuring IT systems comply with industry regulations.
  • Assessing and mitigating risk associated with IT investments.
  • Overseeing IT projects to ensure they meet company standards and are completed on time and on budget.
  • Keeping abreast of technological advancements and industry trends.

The Successful Applicant

A successful CIO should have:

  • A strong educational background in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the Industrial/Manufacturing sector.
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to make strategic decisions.
  • Excellent knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure.
  • Superb project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex IT concepts to non-IT staff.
