About Our Client

Our client is a well-known Food & Beverage company in the world. Taiwan will be a strong focus market for my client and Taiwan will become a key contributor to generate the next wave of growth for APAC. They are now looking for a Channel Manager to handle their ON trade channels in Taiwan.

Job Description

  • Sales plan development and execution - Develop and implement the sales plan for wholesale channels. Ensure there is a plan in place with key wholesalers to meet/exceed our sales and distribution target and relevant KPIs.
  • Wholesaler management - build wholesaler relationships and conduct regular review to ensure healthy business growth. Monitor wholesaler sell-in/sell-out and stock level and provide accurate forecasts to internal stakeholders.
  • People Management - people manager to oversee sales force performance and provide necessary assessment and feedback if needed.
  • Capability building - Continuously build salesforce and our wholesaler's capability thru day-in day-out operation and market visit to drive long term success.
  • Business insight - Strong analytical skills to dig out business insight from field and external data then translate it to actionable plans.

The Successful Applicant

  • 8+ years solid sales management experience in well-known FMCG companies, Food & Beverage industry is a plus
  • Familiar with ON trade and HORECA channels is a big plus
  • Solid people management experience
  • Deep understanding of wholesale channels with proven records of success. Liquor store experience is a plus
  • Proven track record in delivery of commercial strategy and sales growth initiatives
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including communication skills and team work
  • Ability to build and leverage wholesaler relationships by proven negotiation skills and selling capability
  • Good numerical ability and understanding of financial measures
  • Basic English and fluent local language
