Job Description

Strategic Planning and Execution:

-Develop and implement business development strategies for licensing out biotech products.
-Conduct market analysis to identify potential partners and opportunities for out-licensing.
-Formulate plans that align with the overall strategic objectives of the biotech industry.
Resource Integration and Project Management:

-Integrate resources from R&D, clinical, regulatory, and commercial teams to ensure seamless project execution.
-Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
-Utilize project management tools to track progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
Partnership Development and Negotiation:

-Identify and develop new partnership opportunities for the international market (e.g., CMO, CDMO).
-Lead discussions and negotiations for potential partnership projects.
-Maintain and nurture relationships with existing clients and manage exportation for medicine product purchase orders.
Cross-Function Communication:

-Facilitate cross-functional communication internally to ensure alignment and coordination among different teams.
-Collaborate with R&D and clinical teams to leverage their expertise in support of licensing out initiatives.
Promotion and Client Interaction:

-Arrange and execute overseas exhibitions and promotional activities to enhance the company's global presence.
-Represent the company at international conferences and trade shows.
Team Leadership and Goal Setting:

-Lead and mentor a team of business development professionals.
-Set clear, measurable short, medium, and long-term goals for the team.
-Develop action plans to achieve these goals and monitor progress regularly.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Business, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA, PhD) preferred.
  • Proven experience in business development, licensing out, or related roles within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong strategic thinking and planning capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate resources and manage projects across different teams.
  • Effective team leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Proactive, with a positive attitude and the ability to set and achieve clear goals.
  • Clinical or R&D experience is highly desirable.
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken; proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
