About Our Client
Our client is a well-known international retail solutions company deliver growth for clients. They are now looking for a Business Development Manager to oversee brand activation and channel management in Taiwan.
- Manage the execution of country expansion strategies with support from business leaders to achieve short- and long-term business objectives.
- Manage business opportunities in securing sales pipeline in line with short- and long-term financial goals.
- Manage feasibility studies/market scan, evaluate findings and prepares information for decision-making.
- Manage the negotiation process. Prepare contracts, providing inputs on proper pricing and contract terms. Identify upselling opportunities and manage contract re-negotiations with existing clients.
- Manage the improvement of current Business Development processes and cross-functional collaboration to drive effectiveness and minimize redundancy.
- Drive and coordinate activities related to Business Development workforce capability and client/customer data management.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders in identifying upselling opportunities, deal negotiations and finalization of contracts.
- Establish long-term relationships with potential clients/customers with the view to enhance business opportunities.
The Successful Applicant
- 5+ years solid account management, business development or trade marketing experience in FMCG companies or agencies
- Business development experience in applying business development principles for medium- to large-sized companies in similar industries.
- Analytical and business analysis skills.
- Proven client and customer account management skills.
- Ability to manage country level assignments and projects.
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with stakeholder management
