Job Description

  • Develop and maintain server-side applications and databases
  • Work collaboratively with front-end developers and product team
  • Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues
  • Participate in design and code reviews
  • Ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations
  • Contribute to the creation of reusable code and libraries for future use
  • Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies

The Successful Applicant

A successful Backend Engineer should have:

  • A degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Proficiency in backend languages such as Java, .NET, Python, or PHP
  • Experience with database technologies like MySQL, Oracle, and MongoDB
  • Familiarity with web server technologies
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • An understanding of software development methodologies
