Job Description

  • Lead and Manage: Oversee a cross-functional team of automation and system integration engineers across multiple sites.
  • Strategy & Roadmap: Develop and execute the automation roadmap to support company's Smart Factory vision in alignment with global manufacturing goals.
  • Project Delivery: Lead end-to-end planning, design, implementation, and optimization of automation solutions such as AGV/AMR systems, robotic arms, automated inspection, and packaging lines.
  • Digital Integration: Collaborate with IT and data teams to ensure seamless integration of automation systems with MES, ERP, SCADA, and IIoT platforms.
  • Vendor Management: Evaluate, select, and manage third-party automation vendors and system integrators to ensure quality and scalability.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure all automation solutions adhere to industry safety standards and local regulatory compliance.



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Automation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in industrial automation, smart manufacturing, or advanced factory system development.
  • Proven leadership experience in large-scale automation projects, preferably in electronics/EMS/server industries.
  • Strong knowledge of robotics, PLC, SCADA, MES, motion control systems, and machine vision technologies.
  • Familiarity with Industry 4.0 frameworks, IIoT architecture, and data-driven manufacturing.
  • Excellent communication, vendor negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin and English is a strong plus.
