Our client is a well-known MNC FMCG company in the world. They have a clear purpose and vision and strive to improve the lives or people across the globe. They are now looking for a Assistant Sales Manager and in charge of General Trade channels in Taiwan.

Job Description

  • Meeting sales objectives within budget, time, and policy parameters by efficiently managing the distributor and implementing, monitoring, and planning general trade sales activities.
  • Conducting regular visits to distribution centers for audits and market insights within the assigned territory.
  • Providing internal consultancy to the marketing team for planning and implementing consumer-driven activities in general trade channels.
  • Executing visibility norms and maintaining company merchandising elements across the territory in accordance with COMPANY standards.
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in collaboration with the general trade Sales manager.
  • Enhancing in-store product exposure by understanding customer product categories, managing shelf space effectively, and identifying opportunities for merchandising optimization.
  • Contributing to the company's profit performance through the development of effective promotion plans, exploration of promotional opportunities, and strategic use of resources to drive business growth.

The Successful Applicant

  • 3+ years solid sales management experience in FMCG industry
  • General trade management experience is highly preferred
  • Strong negotiation skills as well as communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to deal with clients / buyers individually
  • Results oriented, entrepreneurial and self-motivating
  • Tenacious and resilient, driven to achieve even when faced with obstacles
  • Strong commercial understanding of business issues/opportunities
