About Our Client

Our client is a well-known MNC FMCG company and aimed at identifying new business opportunities worldwide. They are now looking for an Assistant Business Development Manager to serve Taiwan region accordingly.

Job Description

  • Lead, map, and develop on/offline business opportunities in Taiwan through data-driven insights.
  • Identify potential business prospects through market analysis, financial evaluation, and strategic deal assessments.
  • Develop and drive Joint Business Plans (JBPs) and Sales & Marketing execution strategies both internally and externally
  • Align customer marketing plans with brand marketing and distributor business planning.
  • Provide market insights for innovation programs, including competitor activity and pricing research.
  • Manage New Product Development (NPD) business plans, ensuring successful end-to-end product launches.
  • Collaborate closely with local distributors to ensure timely and successful sales execution.
  • Align cross-functional teams (marketing, finance, supply chain, and operations) to achieve project goals.
  • Manage trading terms and promotional budgets, ensuring proper tracking and accruals

The Successful Applicant

  • 3+ years solid trade marketing or business development experience in well-known FMCG companies
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with start from 0 experience
  • Solid Route To Market strategy as well as Joint Business Plan
  • Cross categories management experience is a big plus
  • Growth mindset with strong data analysis
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Mandarin
