Job Description
- Develop and conduct procurement plan for assigned area, aligning and taking initiatives on a regional and global level.
- Evaluate conditions of carrier share for key trade lanes, recommending measures to maximise core carrier share.
- Consolidate current volumes to optimise the yields and achievable net rate (ANR), laying the foundation for business development opportunities in the future.
- Engage with overseas counterparts in the promotion of two-way carrier deals, helping to create efficiencies in our long term procurement efforts.
- Evaluate carrier metrics and ensure volume allocations are in line with targets to support the success of the preferred carrier program (PCP).
- Monitor and maximise of volumes via our Gateways to achieve more consol benefits and save cost.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree is required, major in Logistics or related disciplines is a plus
- 5 years+ experience in air operation in freight forwarder, experiencing in gateway discipline is a must
- At least 2 years leadership experience
- Good English skills in verbal and writing
- Strong connection and good relationship with carriers
- Great planning, problem-solving and analytical skills
