We are seeking a talented and experienced Supply Chain Director to oversee our inventory planning and logistics operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and optimization across our supply chain network.

Job Description

  • Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels, minimize carrying costs, and meet customer demand efficiently.
  • Oversee the forecasting and planning processes to ensure accurate demand projections and inventory optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align production schedules, procurement, and distribution strategies for timely delivery while minimizing excess inventory.
  • Evaluate and enhance existing logistics processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, cost reduction, and operational efficiency.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers, carriers, and third-party logistics partners to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met consistently.
  • Implement and maintain robust inventory control procedures, including cycle counting, stock audits, and reconciliation to prevent discrepancies and shrinkage.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in inventory management, logistics, and supply chain technology.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field with 10+ years of experience in inventory planning and logistics within the FMCG or Healthcare or Retail industries.
  • Proven track record of optimizing stock levels, reducing costs, and leading teams in supply chain management.
  • Strong analytical skills, proficiency in ERP systems, and excellent communication abilities to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
