Job Description

S&OP and Demand Planning Leadership

  • Lead the local S&OP cycle for assigned business groups, integrating insights from Commercial, FP&A, RA/QA, and Global Supply Chain teams.
  • Build short-, mid-, and long-term demand plans aligned with market dynamics, product strategies, customer requirements, and global capacity constraints.
  • Represent Taiwan's demand signals in regional and global planning discussions to ensure alignment with broader business objectives.



Product Lifecycle & Commercial Collaboration

  • Drive demand planning across all stages of the product lifecycle, including new product launches, phase-outs, portfolio transitions, and supply allocation scenarios.
  • Partner closely with commercial teams to incorporate promotional plans, funding cycles, market trends, and customer intelligence into forecast assumptions.
  • Collaborate with Finance to ensure demand plans support revenue, profitability, and working capital goals.



Forecasting, Analytics & Process Improvement

  • Maintain and evolve statistical forecasting models using advanced planning tools and analytics platforms.
  • Track and continuously improve key forecast KPIs such as FA, BIAS, and MAPE through structured improvement methodologies.
  • Conduct scenario planning and risk assessments considering supply fluctuations, seasonality, clinical cycles, and global trends.



Inventory Optimization & Governance

  • Develop safety stock strategies and optimize inventory levels for diverse ranges-from short-shelf-life reagents to long-cycle capital systems.
  • Lead inventory performance reviews and govern metrics including DIOH, excess & obsolete, expiry, scrap, and consignment movement.
  • Perform root-cause analysis on inventory imbalances and drive corrective and preventive actions.
  • Oversee warehouse and consignment cycle counts to ensure strong internal controls and traceability.



The Successful Applicant

Hard Skills

  • 5+ years in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain roles, ideally within life sciences, biotech, healthcare, or scientific product sectors.
  • Strong understanding of S&OP, demand forecasting methodologies, and end-to-end supply chain processes.
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as SAP, IBP, RapidResponse, or similar planning systems; BI or data analytics tools is a plus.
  • Solid financial understanding of how forecast accuracy impacts revenue, margins, and working capital.
  • Proficient English communication for regional/global interactions.
